I wrote this April of 1978-Almost an anniversary so to speak, as I reread it -I see that to me it still applies the same now as when I wrote it then. What do you think?
T I M E
Although we have captured it with the use of the clock, Time goes on and cannot be stopped.
At times it seems to go so fast, then there are memories which are now the past.
Other times it may be slow, and we bring forth what " we are " to show.
Time is what we live upon, we sleep at night and wake at dawn.
Time can be so fine and fair, and when there are friends it is there to share.
Time gives us many things to do, we are always exploring " that " which is new.
There is one problem that has been, we don't know when it is going to end.
As I reread the words I've written so long ago-I ask you the reader, what's happened in your time,
what all do you know? In adding to this can you just take a minute for yourself to reflect. Most things
in time we share with people but things in time we protect. Our hearts , our minds, are two different
things and in time they both change too, It seems at times we would never of thought that this would
happen to me or you. Time is great, Time goes by fast, Enjoy your life everyday keep making your future become your past. Life is Great, Live it everday and don't let Time Slip Away.

ReplyDeletebeautifully written...i always reflect on the past and wonder where the time has gone....i did reconnect with a friend about 5 years ago and it was one of the best things that happened for me, a very special person who can always make me smile, even from afar, so yes, live life to the fullest, and be grateful to have all the special people in your life, i know i am..
